V-neck flatters virtually any face and figure. It is therefore not surprising that many girls choose his name. In a T-shirt of this style, the face looks more expressive, and the neck is longer. But if you have a regular neckline T-shirt that you really like in color and texture of fabric, just redo it!
You will need:
- tailor shears
- tape measure
- matching threads
Using the sealer, dissolve the seam that connects the neck of the jersey and the elastic. Behind the gum left sewn.
Fold the shirt so that the front of the neck is symmetrically aligned.
Now you need to make a new cutout. Cut the right amount of fabric with sharp scissors. If you plan to use an old eraser, the neckline should not descend from the line of the former more than 5 centimeters. Otherwise, you will have to buy additional fabric for processing.
Cut the bottom of the original rubber band in half.
Now stretch the gum a bit before attaching it to the T-shirt again.
It is necessary to combine the edges of the elastic and the new cut of the T-shirt. You need to put them together face up inside and secure with pins. Make sure that you get a flat V-shape.
Now sew the gum and T-shirt together on a sewing machine. Do not forget to remove the pins, so as not to break the needle.
Make a seam, not reaching 2 cm to the place where half of the elastic ends.
Now you need to combine the edge of the collar and the edge of the gum, folding them face up and chipping with pins. It is along the lines that are drawn up with pins that the seam must be laid.
Sew the rest of the gum, going by the machine on the line that is formed by a pin.
Turn the first half. It should look like this.
Sew the second part of the elastic in the same way.
Align the corners of the rubber band and fasten with pins.
Lay the seam along the V-shaped edge. You can fasten the whole collar again.
Now you have a shirt with a beautiful neckline. It will look no less impressive than the T-shirt from the store.
